We’re the only Zero Waste company in sports flooring. We’re also the only company in the industry with a Director of Sustainability. Connor Sports is committed to FSC-certified hardwoods, eco-design and manufacturing, and LEED-certified installations.

Director of Sustainability

As Connor Sports Director of Sustainability, Jason Gasperich leads a unique, company-wide commitment to environmental responsibility. He works with schools, arenas, tournaments and universities to help them certify under the LEED standard or other regulatory requirements. Jason also connects our customers, dealers, architects and general contractors to our network of environmental organizations. We come together through sports to raise global awareness of environmental issues.

The LEED Green Building Rating System certifies our sustainable practices in design, manufacturing and installation.

FSC

Twenty years ago, we became the first MFMA member to be certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This partnership with the FSC means we’ve spent the last two-decades engaging in business practices that preserve forests.

We build hardwood courts to meet the requirements of International Athletic Floor Standard-DIN 18032, part 2, 2001.

Zerowaste

We are proud to be the only ZeroWaste company in the sports surfacing industry. As a ZeroWaste company, less than 1% of all our waste is sent to a landfill.
